The SW55 A is the compact machine in AotingBots' pair of commercial cleaning robots, and it cleans without water. Instead of wetting the floor and pumping the dirty water back out, it combines four actions in one pass — scrubbing, sweeping, vacuuming and dust mopping — so there is no water tank to fill, no wastewater to empty and no plumbed docking station to install. At 615 x 585 x 650 mm and 91 kg it is small enough for hotel corridors, offices, shopping malls and conference centres, and it works on carpet, hard floors and wooden flooring alike. Twin side brushes give a cleaning path of 705 mm with the large brushes or 615 mm with the small ones, and the maker claims cleaning to 0 cm from the edge. Throughput is up to 1,200 square metres an hour at speeds of 0.5, 0.7 or 1.0 m/s, and the 52 Ah battery runs for 12 hours on hard flooring or 16.5 hours in silent mode, recharging in about 2 hours. Navigation uses 360-degree laser scanning with multi-sensor fusion, mapping up to 40,000 square metres and updating the map as the site changes. It can be integrated with lifts, access gates and door-entry systems so it can work a whole building unattended, and security monitoring, inspection and fire-spot detection are offered as options. A 4 L waste bin and 7.5 L dust bag mean emptying roughly once a week, and at 62 dB or less it is quiet enough to run beside people.
