The AMR Carry-Tarou turns a simple towing AGV into an autonomous mobile robot: an AMR/AGV hybrid with an easy input interface, designed to cut the effort of introducing automated cart transport. It tows carts with a total capacity of 500 kg including its own weight, either following magnetic tape as an AGV or navigating freely by 2D SLAM, with Visual SLAM as an option and a waterproof version available. The 840 x 520 x 700 mm robot weighs 60 kg, travels at up to 50 m/min (3 km/h) with spin turns and runs 4 to 5 hours per charge. Destinations are set in a Web UI or with buttons on the robot, an emergency stop, obstacle sensors and a bumper sensor protect people, and PLC linkage is possible. YOKOIDO lists it among its non-promoted (built-to-order) models.
