Dynamo is Addverb Technologies' family of autonomous mobile robots for moving material around a warehouse or factory floor. Addverb sells six variants, numbered by payload: the Dynamo 100, 200, 500, 1000, 1500 and 2500, where the number is the kilograms each can carry. The 1500 can be fitted with a Trolley Tugger attachment for towing rather than carrying. They navigate without floor infrastructure - Addverb calls it natural navigation, built on lidar sensors and computer vision rather than magnetic tape or QR markers, so a route can be changed in software instead of on the floor. The entry Dynamo 100 carries 100 kg at up to 2 m/s, positions to within plus or minus 20 mm and docks to within plus or minus 10 mm, which is the figure that decides whether it can hand off to a conveyor or a workstation reliably. Charging is the unusual specification: Addverb quotes eight minutes for up to four hours of transport work, an opportunity-charging pattern that suits robots dipping into a charger between jobs rather than parking for a shift. Obstacle detection uses 2D lidar alongside additional safety sensors so the robots can share aisles with people.
