CARMA Project: First Pilot Demonstration in Madrid

Official Horizon Europe footage of CARMA’s first field pilot with Madrid Municipal Police on 19 March 2026. Real collaborative robots (including ANYmal, TEC 800 and NEO HD) map hazardous scenes in 3D, locate victims, detect chemical and other dangers, and support first responders before officers enter. The EU-funded consortium of 12 European partners is building semi-autonomous systems for police and emergency investigation work, not a fictional detective.
