VARAHA iMFD-20W is a multi-functional mining robot for underground work. It does four jobs remotely, cutting, drilling, dozing and material transport, so people stay out of high-risk zones. A specialised ore-cutting saw can pulverise up to 8 to 9 feet of rock wall in a single pass, a drilling variant makes boreholes and places explosives, and a dozing unit side-loads material with a 0.5-tonne capacity. A compact body suits narrow tunnels, and an integrated transport module moves it to the work site.
