eNovus is Oceaneering's compact electric work-class ROV. A 150 kVA electric propulsion system - equivalent to 235 hp of hydraulics - with state-of-the-art control electronics and an intelligent diagnostic system replaces hydraulic thrusters, while a dedicated hydraulic circuit keeps full work-class manipulator performance. The 3,400 kg vehicle measures 2.7 x 1.6 x 1.8 m, is rated to 5,000 m and carries 227 kg of payload. Four vectored horizontal and three vertical electric thrusters give 8.5 kN forward and lateral and 8.0 kN vertical thrust. It supports next-generation electric tools with 135 kW of electric tooling capacity and tooling control pods, alongside dedicated hydraulic power units for traditional tools and two Atlas 7-function manipulators, and up to eight cameras from SD to 4K UHD. It features Oceaneering's Remote Piloting and Automated Control Technology (RPACT), with autonomous control, hands-free piloting, station keeping and remote piloting from onshore, and its tether management system supports up to 1,500 m of electro-optical tether.
