Oberon is a laser-guided automatic pallet truck for fairly heavy pallets - 1,600 kg at a 600 mm load centre - loaded on the pallet's short side. Like all Esatroll LGVs it uses ANT laser navigation, with two laser scanners serving both safety and navigation, a colour touch-screen interface, Wi-Fi connectivity and optional opportunity charging. Like Esatroll's other vehicles it is designed and built in-house in Switzerland and adapted to each customer's plant, and it can be run by Esatroll's customised supervisor, which takes calls from workstations, assigns vehicles, manages right of way and load delivery and logs activity.
