WA1 is the precision machine of the NAVIAI range — its Chinese name means something like master craftsman — and the numbers are what carry it: 0.03 mm assembly accuracy, dispensing error under one millilitre, and flexible-material alignment to within 2 mm. That last figure is the interesting one, because aligning flexible material is a problem rigid automation handles badly, and it is why the company can point at apparel manufacturing alongside chemical and automotive work. It rides an industrial-grade omnidirectional chassis that also lifts, pitches and rotates, so the working envelope extends vertically as well as across the floor and it can manoeuvre in tight aisles. Adaptive disturbance compensation keeps the accuracy under real conditions rather than only on a bench. Perception combines vision, force and tactile sensing for real-time awareness, obstacle avoidance and safe work alongside people. It decomposes complex jobs into sequenced steps and runs them under closed-loop control, and the company claims deployment onto a customised production line in as little as one day.
