The MOBOT TRANSPORTER U1 is WObit's compact, easy-to-use transport robot, developed under the Reach4Robotics project idea of robots that users can start up themselves without a specialised integrator. It carries loads such as bedding and meals in hotels, documents and books in offices and archives, bedding, food or disinfection equipment in hospitals and passengers' luggage at airports, and can be fitted with sensors, for example to monitor temperature or air quality. WObit positions it as a low-cost entry to mobile robotics, estimating a return on investment of about one year when it replaces one person on one shift, and also offers it as a teaching tool for technical universities and schools; partners can integrate their own equipment with the robot. The site does not publish numeric specifications for the U1.
