The RAT03 is a powered wheelchair that stands its user up. It is built for people with lower-limb impairment, and its defining feature is one-button switching between seated and standing modes, done without anyone else's help — which matters far beyond convenience, because the muscle wasting and circulatory decline that follow long periods sitting or lying down are among the main reasons mobility loss compounds. Standing is therapy as much as posture. It also detects gait without contact and follows its user, so it can serve as a walking aid rather than only a seat, and it fits users between 140 and 190 cm. It carries under 90 kg, travels more than 20 km on a charge at up to 6 km/h, climbs 8-degree slopes, holds on a 9-degree gradient, crosses 40 mm obstacles and 100 mm gaps, and turns within a metre. Voice interaction, a microphone matrix, remote Bluetooth control and high-load electric cylinders round it out.
