hunova is Movendo Technology's robotic system for sensorimotor assessment and rehabilitation of the lower limbs and trunk, built to support doctors, physiotherapists and patients through the whole rehabilitation path. A sensorised robotic platform and a sensorised robotic seat move in one or several directions with trajectories, speeds and ranges set by the clinician, for passive mobilisation, active work against elastic or fluid resistance, proprioceptive training and assisted exercise. It is used in orthopaedic and sports rehabilitation of the ankle, knee, hip and spine, in neurological rehabilitation after stroke and in Parkinson's disease and multiple sclerosis, and in geriatrics for balance training and fall-risk assessment. A wireless trunk sensor, touch screen with visual and audio biofeedback, games, a clinician tablet and HL7 integration with electronic health records complete the system, which measures 150 x 160 x 205 cm and weighs 290 kg.
