GETA is Yeefung's robotic car-parking AGV: a flat vehicle that slides under a parked car, lifts it by its wheels and carries it to a parking space, so drivers simply leave the car in an entry bay. Laser navigation with magnetic-spot assistance gives +/-5 mm positioning at up to 1.5 m/s, dynamic route planning means no cables, tracks or fixed routes are needed, and the average retrieval time is under 120 seconds. Yeefung says it can raise the capacity of an existing car park by up to 40%, and its fleet management coordinates up to 1,000 AGVs. Type C is 4,548 mm long, 1,773 mm wide and only 320 mm high, with double driving-and-steering wheels and a 2,400 mm rotating radius. It carries cars of up to 2,500 kg, moves forward, backward, sideways and rotates on the spot, and runs 8 hours on a 48 V 200 Ah lead-acid battery (lithium optional) with automatic charging. A 6-rps laser scanner handles navigation and a laser safety sensor brakes automatically within 200 mm.
