The Cruiser 360 is Addverb Technologies' four-way pallet shuttle - a 3D automated storage and retrieval vehicle that moves along the X, Y and Z axes rather than being confined to a single storage lane. That is what the four-way description means in practice: it changes direction within the rack, so one shuttle can serve a whole block of storage instead of one aisle, which is how high-density warehouses cut the number of aisles they need. It carries a maximum payload of 1,500 kg at 1.5 m/s and weighs 450 kg itself. The vehicle measures 1,102 x 1,028 x 185 mm - low enough to run underneath a pallet - and handles pallets up to 1,200 x 1,200 mm. Positioning accuracy is plus or minus 2 mm. A 24 V battery powers it, charged either automatically or manually, and it communicates over Wi-Fi on both 2.4 and 5 GHz. Addverb rates it for operating temperatures from -25 to +45 C, which covers cold-store and frozen-goods work as well as ambient warehousing.
