Galaxea R1 Lite

R1 Lite is the compact member of the R1 family, and the trade it makes is height for accessibility: 1,280 mm tall on a 600 mm chassis, with 23 degrees of freedom and a vertical working space of 0 to 1.7 m. Galaxea positions it as the layout for stable, single-direction work — intuitive to set up and quick to learn. It carries two of the company's own six-degree-of-freedom A1X arms, 600 mm long with spherical wrist joints, each rated 3 kg at full 600 mm extension and peaking at 5 kg. The torso adds three degrees of freedom, lifting freely across the working range and translating fore and aft so the arms can be presented from several positions. The chassis is a six-degree-of-freedom vector design on Galaxea's own steering-wheel modules, supporting translation, spin and Ackermann motion for full 360-degree movement at up to 1.5 m/s. Computing is an Intel Core i9-12900HK with 32 GB of RAM and a 1 TB SSD. Sensing pairs a platform stereo camera with wrist monocular depth cameras and chassis and torso IMUs, and there is a matching R1 Lite Teleop isomorphic rig for data collection.
