The CGXI G20 is the longest and fastest arm in the range - 1,800 mm of reach at up to 4 m/s. It carries 20 kg over a reach of 1800 mm, weighs 68 kg itself, moves at up to 4 m/s and repeats to plus or minus 0.05 mm. The G-series are CGXI's collaborative arms for manufacturing - ivory white with green accents, supplied as standard with an industrial control cabinet. All eight share six rotating joints and a self-weight to load ratio under four. CGXI's safety case is the distinguishing part. An industry-first Xi-Black Box records on-site fault data, there are more than a hundred safety features with self-monitoring, collision-force protection runs to ten levels, and a power-off protection design is meant to bring the arm to a reliable stop even if its cables are severed. The tool end carries a three-colour status indicator, two function buttons and two bus interfaces. For integration the arms take 2D and 3D vision and force-sensor fusion, connect over wired, wireless, 4G or 5G links to MES and industrial-internet systems, and coordinate with mainstream PLCs, servo systems, CNC machine tools and external axes over EtherCAT, including conveyor tracking and synchronisation. CGXI manufactures to IATF 16949:2016, the automotive quality management standard.
