The Burro Sprayito is Burro's autonomous spot sprayer for orchards and vineyards: a Burro Grande platform fitted with WEED-IT precision spray sensors that use infrared chlorophyll detection to find weeds and spray only them, on berms or on berms and centres, cutting cost and chemical use by up to 75%. Each sensor controls four nozzles, with 99% accuracy across ambient light conditions, PWM rate control and self-calibration. It is set up once and then runs continuously. The platform has 12.6 hp (9.4 kW) peak power, a minimum 15-mile battery range, 1,000 lb carrying and 5,000 lb towing capacity and a 5.8 mph top speed; the Sprayito is 56 in tall, 58.75 in long and 48 in wide. It has 24 sensors including 12 stereo cameras, GPS with a 30 m LiDAR, onboard CPU/GPU and a 4G LTE modem, and is controlled through the onboard BOSS interface, an available remote control and the BOSS Web dashboard.
