BeRobot ('Be Any Robot') is GeStream Technology's programmable educational humanoid robot and robotics development platform, recognised by Guinness World Records as the smallest humanoid robot in production: it stands 153 mm (6 in) tall and can walk, kick and perform push-ups. Its aluminium-magnesium alloy bricks can be rebuilt into hundreds of forms - dog, dinosaur, scorpion, crab, snake or spider as well as humanoid - and damaged parts are easy to replace; a rotatable waist adds to its range of motion, and moves include walking, squatting, dancing, spinning on one foot, push-ups, football and Tai Chi. The platform controls up to 32 digital servo motors, each with dual bearings, near-zero-backlash gears, IC protection against overheating, a range of up to 220 degrees and a 500,000-cycle life. Beginners program motions in a game-like graphical editor, while advanced users use an SDK with Visual Basic, C++, C#, Java, Python, Scratch, Blockly or LabVIEW, and a Bluetooth version adds Android app control. IrDA, UART/USB and 8 GPIO interfaces accept Arduino-compatible sensors, and optional modules add touch, light, sound, distance, fall-down, gyro and humidity sensing, voice, gesture, brain-wave and VR control, and Wi-Fi or Bluetooth. GeStream supports BeRobot with a 30-level STEM curriculum from primary school to university and engineers, and it is made in Taiwan and RoHS compliant.
