Addverb Cruiser

The Cruiser is Addverb Technologies' two-way pallet shuttle: a battery-powered vehicle that runs inside the racking on rails, carrying a pallet into a lane and bringing it back out. Unlike the four-way Cruiser 360 it works one axis, which is the trade-off for very deep lanes - Addverb rates storage depth at up to 60 metres, so a single lane can hold a long run of pallets served by one shuttle. It carries up to 1,500 kg at 1.1 m/s and weighs 300 kg itself. Throughput is quoted at 60 pallets an hour on a 30-metre track - the figure to compare against, since throughput falls as the lane gets longer. A 25.6 V 54 Ah battery takes four hours to charge, and the shuttle talks to the warehouse system over Wi-Fi on 2.4 and 5 GHz. Addverb lists it in five variants - 1012, 1111, 1212, 1210 and 3737 - covering different pallet footprints. It is rated from -25 to +45 C, so the same machine works in a frozen store and in ambient warehousing.
