Robotic workstation for spot welding of steel housings and projection welding of studs. Equipped with a gripper, a 6-axis robot, a stud feeder, and a belt conveyor for transporting the welded housing. How it works? The process begins with manual loading of the housing and start confirmation by the operator. The first phase involves spot welding the housing edges at the input station, from where a Cartesian gripper transports the part to a corner spot welding station. Next, a 6-axis robot picks up the welded housing and moves it to the projection welding area. An integrated feeder automatically delivers studs onto the bottom electrode, and the welder performs a sequence of four welds.
