The ZEPU-AI3 lower extremity feedback training and evaluation system is Zepu's early-intervention lower-limb trainer, giving bedridden and early-stage patients a step-by-step path from lying to sitting to standing. The patient lies on a multi-position ergonomic bed that can be set to lying, sitting or standing posture while electrically driven pedals - retractable over 0-26 cm so they reach the soles automatically - move the legs through zero- or low-weight stepping. The guiding force can be adjusted in real time to switch freely between passive, power-assisted and active modes, and the device monitors lower-limb muscle strength. Upper-arm rests adjust over 0-50 cm to protect the arms, a separate 55-inch screen linked wirelessly shows interactive scenes and games (its scenario protocol is open to third-party games), and AI-based analysis of the patient's progress suggests treatment options. Zepu lists spinal cord injury, stroke, traumatic brain injury, post-operative and long-term bedridden patients, arthritis and joint replacement, and disuse muscle atrophy as applications. It is a registered Class II medical device in Shandong province, intended for use in medical institutions by qualified staff rather than for personal use.
