The ZEPU-AI1 gait training and evaluation system is Zepu's robotic gait trainer for patients who have lost or weakened walking function. Based on the principle of neural plasticity, it supports the patient in a harness with dynamic body-weight unloading and drives the legs with mechanical leg orthoses over a treadmill, simulating the shift of the centre of gravity in real walking so that patients complete large numbers of repetitive physiological gait cycles and re-establish a correct movement pattern. Five-axis linkage control adapts to the patient and automatically matches human motion, with dynamic weight relief and a longitudinal centre-of-gravity drive, and the guidance can be adjusted in real time across passive, assisted and active modes. An AI mirror gait-learning function collects gait patterns, and virtual-reality interactive training responds to subtle changes in the patient. The software manages patients, assessments, records and reports for personalised treatment plans. Zepu lists stroke, traumatic brain injury, Parkinson's disease, spinal cord injury, multiple sclerosis, recovery after joint replacement, disuse weakness and walking rehabilitation for disabled and elderly people as applications. It is a registered Class II medical device in Shandong province, intended for use in medical institutions by qualified staff rather than for personal use.
