Workerbot9 (product type WB9) is pi4_robotics' humanoid mobile service robot, made in Germany. It stands 1,662 mm tall on a 534 x 783 mm mobile platform with integrated navigation, with a head carrying a 3D camera, a 2D camera, a noise-cancelling microphone array, a speaker and a temperature sensor, an interactive face on its head display, a torso display and a docking station on the platform that holds interchangeable functional modules. It recognises faces and speech, can identify and authenticate people, detects whether a person is standing or lying, measures temperature, works as a telepresence avatar and speaks many languages; it is operated on the robot or from a mobile phone and runs through a 4G/5G cloud with remote maintenance and over-the-air updates, without touching the customer's own IT.\npi4 sells the same WB9 robot in several configurations: Care-Home (tray module wb9am-001 for drinks and food), Care-Hospital (electronically unlocked drawer modules wb9am-002 and wb9am-004 for deliveries), Waiter (removable-tray module wb9am-003), Baggage-Service (modules wb9am-005 and wb9am-006 for luggage), Concierge and Research (optional robot arm), Security and Customer-Service. It can be bought, rented or used as Robot-as-a-Service.
