Wiperque is a facade-cleaning robot from Vividobots, a Chennai company, built to clean the glass and exterior surfaces of high-rise buildings without sending rope-access workers over the side. It is the company's flagship product and is offered for order and on-site demonstration. The robot is suspended on cables against the building face and works its way across the facade, cleaning with water jets combined with soft rollers and brushes that are meant not to scratch the glass. Smart sensors support the cleaning, and an operator controls the unit wirelessly in a semi-autonomous mode while watching a live video feed of the surface on screen, using it to guide each pass. Vividobots states that Wiperque cleans up to 200 square metres per hour, uses about 30 percent less water through its controlled spray system, and lowers long-term cleaning costs by 40 to 50 percent compared with manual methods. The body is built to resist corrosion to reduce maintenance. The company launched Wiperque at the Tamil Nadu Global Startup Summit in 2025.
