RoboCT UFU Robot (Medical)

설명

UFU is not an exoskeleton at all but a wheeled stand-assist and transfer robot, and it addresses the least discussed part of immobility: not walking, but everything else. It is designed for people who cannot stand or walk normally after spinal cord injury, brain lesions, neurological disease, myasthenia or major surgery, and it supports daily self-care — moving between bed and chair, standing training, and toileting, which is the need that most directly determines whether someone can live independently. The medical edition is built for the ward: it takes mountings for oxygen bottles, infusion bottles and other auxiliary medical apparatus, so the patient's equipment travels with them rather than being disconnected for each transfer. It rides on omnidirectional wheels of the kind RoboCT manufactures itself, which is what lets it turn within its own footprint in the tight space beside a hospital bed.
