Revolve Surgical's robotic surgical platform is a table-mounted system for minimally invasive surgery, designed to give surgeons robotic assistance at the bedside instead of from a separate console. Revolve calls the design zero-footprint: because it clamps directly onto the operating table it fits the smallest operating rooms and is portable enough to move between them. The surgeon keeps direct control at the table with ergonomic controls and wristed instruments, which Revolve says removes the strain and fatigue of manual laparoscopic tools while preserving natural force feedback - by eliminating teleoperation, it aims to combine the benefits of robotics and manual laparoscopy. Modular arms add tissue retraction and advanced vision. Its 5 mm wristed instruments are pitched as a balance between full dexterity and a small incision. The platform was designed for digital surgery from the start, supporting advanced visualisation, enhanced instrumentation, data capture and AI-based analytics. Revolve says it works out of the box with no additional personnel or maintenance fees, at a cost comparable to laparoscopy. The company has not published a model name, specifications, price or regulatory clearance, and is taking waitlist registrations.
