MagTrack is a remote-controlled ATEX Zone 2 electric robot for cleaning vertical steel surfaces such as tank walls and ship hulls. A magnetic base holds it firmly on vertical steel while the operator controls it from outside, so nobody has to enter tanks or confined spaces. Four 48 V DC electric motors drive it, and its modular arm takes high-pressure water nozzles, abrasive-blasting heads or a material suction accessory; in water-jet mode it cleans up to 140 m2 (1,500 sq ft) an hour, from surface cleaning to blasting and hull work.
