L3Harris T4

The T4 is L3Harris' medium-sized multi-mission unmanned ground vehicle, offering big-robot capabilities in a medium footprint for explosive ordnance disposal, CBRNE detection and HAZMAT clearance in tight urban spaces and austere environments. It is the first medium-sized robot with haptic feedback - the arm mirrors the operator's hand and lets them feel what it touches - making tasks like unzipping bags and opening glove boxes quick and easy, and the first of its size able to fire high-recoil EOD disruptors repeatedly. The chassis weighs 70 kg with batteries, plus a 33 kg quick-release arm; it can be carried by two people and fits in a 4x4 vehicle. It measures 91.9 x 44.5 x 118.9 cm with the arm stowed, runs 7+ hours on six BB-2590 batteries at over 8 km/h, and its skid-steer tracks climb stairs and slopes over 45 degrees. The arm reaches 2 m horizontally and 2.5 m vertically and lifts 55 kg near the chassis and 20 kg at full extension, with a force-sensing gripper, wire cutter and up to three disruptors; omni-directional stabilisers add stability and autonomous self-righting. It has front and rear driving cameras, a 120x-zoom PTZ mast camera and a zoomable gripper camera, 1,000+ m line-of-sight radio range, EMI shielding for use with jammers, -20 to +60 C operation, 30 cm fording and IP66 sealing. A shared haptic controller (16 kg with battery, 6+ hour runtime on one BB-2590 or external 24-30 VDC) with manipulator presets, motion rewind and a daylight-visible display drives both T7 and T4. The U.K. MoD and Belgium's Ministry of Defence have selected T4.
