JalaDuta is Coratia Technologies' first-generation underwater remotely operated vehicle (ROV), built to clean ship hulls, carry out minor salvage work and survey submerged civil infrastructure. It is an open-frame, tethered vehicle driven from the surface by an operator who receives live video and sensor data. The ROV carries a cleaning mechanism that removes biofouling and debris from ship hulls and other submerged surfaces, and cameras and inspection sensors that record the condition of underwater structures for maintenance planning. Its open frame and thrusters give it the manoeuvrability to recover objects and materials in minor salvage tasks. JalaDuta is rated to 150 m depth. It was succeeded by the deeper-rated JalaSimha, and the Indian Navy's 2025 contract with Coratia, worth INR 660 million, was reported to include JalaDuta alongside JalaSimha and the Navya surface vessel.
