The RXR-MY80D does the job that kills most people in a building fire: it moves the smoke. Its fume exhaust machine shifts more than 10,000 cubic metres of air an hour, clearing the hot, toxic layer out of a basement, tunnel or warehouse so that crews can enter and occupants can breathe — and it does that while also carrying an imported 80 L/s water-and-foam cannon reaching beyond 80 metres, so a single machine both ventilates and attacks. It gathers what the incident commander needs at the same time: flammable gas concentration, fire scene temperature and humidity, and four channels of imagery sent back in real time. Optional temperature and humidity sensing, infrared thermal imaging and anti-overturn prediction extend that. At up to 800 kg it climbs 36-degree slopes, works over five hours and tows two 80 mm hoses to 60 metres, protecting itself with water curtain cooling.
