The Burro Cortador is Burro's fully autonomous, all-electric mower, designed to replace diesel mowers of up to 30 hp in vineyard rows, orchards and open terrain. Three electric spindle motors with heavy-duty swing blades, delivering over 8 hp continuously and 15 hp at peak under a 7-gauge stainless-steel deck, cut vegetation up to 1.5 inches thick, and its low centre of gravity handles slopes of 30 degrees and more where tractors and zero-turn mowers cannot safely operate. With the included range-expansion packs it mows for up to 7 hours and covers 50-60 acres of thick vegetation without supervision. BOSS+ mission management defines zones, auto-generates routes and schedules missions; remote control is available for trimming edges; five or more safety sensors with person detection guard operation; camera feeds can be viewed remotely; and it is compatible with Burro's autonomous docking station for unattended recharging.
