Barista Robot “R Cafe”

설명

R Café is Roborn's robot barista, and its design argument is unusual for an automation product: the company explicitly rejects pure automation as the goal. Their position is that a good pour-over is a matter of motion, and that motion is personal. So rather than executing a fixed brew program, R Café captures the hand, wrist and elbow movements of an individual barista, stores them, and reproduces them on demand at the push of a button. Precise multi-directional motion and exact timing at each step let it recreate any combination of pour and movement, so a particular barista's technique — not a generic recipe — is what gets repeated. The system bundles the robot with 5G, AI, IoT and cloud into an all-in-one installation aimed at retail and hospitality settings.
