The Cub Cadet XR5 4000 is a boundary-wire robotic lawn mower from the XR5 ENDURO SERIES, rated for lawns of up to 4,000 m2. Its slightly wider body carries twin cutting discs with 2 x 4 blades for a 42 cm cut, doubling hourly output for larger gardens. It mows in an intelligent pattern at about 115 m2 an hour, runs 110-120 minutes per charge on an 18.15 V, 9.6 Ah lithium-ion battery and recharges in 90-110 minutes, and can manage a main zone, four sub zones and separate zones. A floating deck follows uneven ground, Edge Mode cuts beyond the wheels for a neat edge, patented high-traction wheels climb slopes of up to 45 %, and the cutting height runs from 15 to 100 mm. A 4.3-inch touchscreen and a Bluetooth 5.0 smartphone app handle schedules, manual control and mowing history, while a 360-degree bump sensor, lift and tilt sensors, PIN code, alarm and GSM tracking protect it. It measures 67 x 53 x 28 cm, weighs 12.2 kg and runs at 53 dB(A) sound pressure (64 dB(A) sound power).
