X-BAT is Shield AI's AI-piloted vertical takeoff and landing (VTOL) fighter aircraft concept for expeditionary and maritime operations in contested airspace. Unveiled October 22, 2025, it pairs runway-independent VTOL with theater-scale range and Hivemind autonomy; first VTOL flights are targeted for 2026 with production aimed at 2029 (OEM).
