Workerbot9 Care-Home PT (product type WB9CH) is pi4_robotics' nursing-assistant robot for care homes, which pi4 calls the first and only nursing assistant robot in the world. It relieves nursing staff by fetching and delivering drinks, food and other needs, reminding residents of appointments and accompanying them there, and it navigates on its own on a mobile platform. Per pi4's drawings it has a head display with face and a 2D camera for person detection, a fold-out tablet, 3D cameras, a holder for 12 bottles with LED lighting and bottle detection, two emergency switches and an option for a six-axis robotic arm. It recognises faces and speech, speaks many languages, is operated on the robot or by mobile phone and runs over a 4G/5G cloud with remote maintenance. It is 1.75 m tall and weighs 135 kg, and can be bought, rented or used as Robot-as-a-Service.
