The Vector Magnum APM (Autonomous Pallet Mover) is an electric autonomous pallet truck from Vector Robotics, designed and manufactured in India, for moving heavy pallets around factories and warehouses. It belongs to the Vector Magnum range, which also includes AMR and AGV platforms. The APM carries pallet loads of up to 3 tonnes (3,000 kg) at speeds up to 1.2 m/s and navigates to within plus or minus 15 mm. It uses LiDAR-based SLAM navigation, so it needs no guide tape or floor changes, and a rigid electromechanical scissor lift under both tines raises the load level without tilting. Low-profile tines slide into low-clearance or partly deflected pallets, and it accepts Euro (EPAL) pallets, GMA skids and custom stillage bases. Swappable batteries allow continuous operation. The vehicle is managed through Vector OS and connects to ERP, WMS and MES systems. Vector positions it for floor-to-floor pallet transport, under-ride lifting, end-of-line pallet dispatch and continuous dock staging, and says each unit can be customised to a customer's requirements.
