The household KidGo is a simplified version of RoboCT's paediatric exoskeleton, built so that walking training can carry on at home under guidance rather than only during clinic visits. For a child with cerebral palsy, spinal cord injury or another neuromuscular disease that difference compounds: gait training works through volume, and the sessions a family can run between appointments are the ones that add up. It keeps what makes the clinical version work with children — game-like interaction to sustain motivation, an animal-shaped body that reads as friendly rather than medical, and repetitive high-frequency gait training aimed at independent walking — while shedding the complexity that needs a therapist present.
