QUACO Pro is Sastra Robotics' enterprise test-automation platform: a cabinet-sized robotic test bench that physically operates a device's interface - pressing, swiping and gesturing on real hardware - so that human-machine interfaces can be exercised far beyond what a human tester can sustain. The testing is non-intrusive. The robot works the device from the outside with no instrumentation of the software under test, which is what makes it usable for real-time performance evaluation and hardware-in-the-loop testing across a product's whole life cycle, rather than only in a lab build. Sastra reports more than five million test cases run across six-plus industries in seven years. The Pro S model at the centre of the range pairs a sixth-generation SCARA robot with a single force-controlled touch module for screens up to 16.9 inches, adding haptic testing and integrated computer vision. A Cartesian sibling, the QUACO Pro D, covers larger displays and multi-finger gestures. What makes it a platform rather than a machine is the software and the packaging. The QUACO test suite plans, scripts, executes and reports test sequences across any product in the series, with integrated OCR and icon recognition, and remote login so systems can be used and managed from anywhere. Industry-specific and application-specific packages ship as ready-made test benches, which Sastra puts at up to 70 percent cost reduction against assembling one. An ergonomic on-machine interface module shows status and runtime information, maintenance alerts and SOP violations, and its One-Click-Teachability lets an operator train the robot without a dedicated computer or a line of code. Connection is deliberately plain: QUACO speaks Telnet, so it plugs into a LAN and works.
