MDR-C is a UV-C disinfection robot from MARSES Robotics. It maps a site, defines disinfection spots to cover the whole space and saves the map, then drives autonomously and uses short-wavelength ultraviolet light to treat rooms, surfaces and air. The lamps switch off automatically if someone enters while it is active. MARSES says it disinfects a whole room in about 15 minutes, can open doors and use elevators through hospital system integration, and returns to its home position after each scheduled task.
