LUF 300 SG is a remote-controlled firefighting robot with an extendable extinguishing cannon. A fold-out arm raises the cannon up to 4 m and folds up to 180 degrees, and the cannon rotates 270 degrees, giving it reach over obstacles. A 300 hp Deutz diesel drives the crawler chassis, and a built-in pump delivers 5,500 litres per minute at 8 bar, with a water throw of up to 85 m. It can also move obstacles such as cars, works in extreme heat and low oxygen, and is controlled at up to 300 m.
