The T7 is L3Harris' large multi-mission unmanned ground vehicle, built for explosive ordnance disposal (EOD) - including vehicle-borne IED defeat - HAZMAT clean-up, intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance, and SWAT operations. Its defining feature is an intuitive haptic controller with force feedback, giving operators human-like dexterity and precision while reducing cognitive load, training time and task time. It is trusted by forces in the U.K., U.S. and Australia. The 322 kg platform (with arm and batteries) measures 120 x 70 x 116 cm and runs 8+ hours on 12 BB-2590 batteries at up to 7 km/h on a rugged automotive-grade skid-steer track system that climbs stairs and slopes over 45 degrees and traverses side slopes over 30 degrees. Its manipulator reaches 2.2 m horizontally and 3.1 m vertically, lifts 113+ kg near the chassis and 27+ kg at full extension, and carries a force-sensing gripper with a non-conductive wire cutter and up to four disruptors (two large, such as PAN, PIGSTICK, HOTROD or RE70). Cameras include front and rear driving cameras, a 30x-zoom PTZ mast camera, a zoomable gripper camera, an optional mid-arm camera and four fender-mounted corner cameras. Radio range is 1,000+ m line of sight and 300+ m non-line of sight; it operates from -20 to +60 C, is EMI-shielded for use with active jammers, fords 25 cm and is IP56 sealed. A shared haptic controller (16 kg with battery, 6+ hour runtime on one BB-2590 or external 24-30 VDC) with manipulator presets, motion rewind and a daylight-visible display drives both T7 and T4. Accessories include a fibre-optic tether, radio repeater, CBRNE sensor mounts, under-vehicle kit and forklift.
