iSAGEBOT Heterogeneous Hexa-arm Robot

This is the strangest machine in iSAGEBOT's range and the one it leads with: six heterogeneous arms on a single wheeled body, totalling 111 degrees of freedom. The word that matters is heterogeneous — the arms are not six copies of one design but different arms with six independent workspaces, deliberately decoupled in space so they can work at high density without colliding or waiting for each other. The result is a full-surround working envelope: the robot can be approached and can work from any direction without repositioning or rotating. It stands 1,794 mm, extending to 2,094 mm, on a 950 by 650 mm base, and weighs 270 kg. Each arm carries 5 kg and the seven-axis arms are force-controlled, which is what makes precision assembly and bonding plausible rather than merely possible. Repeated positioning accuracy is quoted at a maximum of 0.03 mm with angular accuracy of one degree. Navigation is multi-sensor fusion, and it is controlled by voice, remote cloud or touchscreen. iSAGEBOT aims it at biopharmacy, semiconductor, food and beverage and auto-parts work.
