H2200 is Invert Robotics' H-series hybrid climbing robot for assets of 2,200 mm diameter or more. Two independent adhesion methods let it stick to any smooth surface, including magnetic, coated, glazed and stainless steel surfaces, and give redundancy on particularly sensitive surfaces. Invert says it is particularly well suited to inspecting and maintaining glass-lined vessels. It reaches 200 mm/s and carries a 5 kg payload, with tooling for visual, ultrasonic, spark and laser inspection. Spark testing finds pinholes, voids, cracks, thin spots and contaminants in coatings and linings, and the ultrasonic tool measures thickness with an integrated position encoder and couplant pump.
