説明
BandicootはGenroboticsのCleaning-Robotsです。 清掃、マテリアルハンドリング、点検向けに設計されています。 主な数値:6 自由度、2018年発売。
Bandicoot is a remote-operated robot from Genrobotics that cleans sewer manholes so that sanitation workers no longer have to climb inside. It was developed in Kerala to end manual scavenging and is used mainly by municipal corporations and urban local bodies in India. The system has two parts. A wheeled stand unit is parked over the open manhole and carries the operator's control panel and screen. From it, a multi-jointed robotic unit is lowered into the shaft. Once inside, its robotic legs expand against the walls for stability, and a six-degree-of-freedom arm with a specially designed bucket and grabber scoops sludge, silt and solid debris, which is lifted out and emptied into a container or vehicle. Four HD cameras show the operator the inside of the manhole while gas sensors check for hazardous gases. The robot works at depths of up to 12 metres, uses pneumatic actuation and is built to IP68 so it can operate submerged. Genrobotics reports deployments in 19 states and 3 union territories, more than 120 cities and 140 clients, including 9 robots across Gujarat municipalities, 5 in Indore with BPCL, 5 in Coimbatore, 3 at New Town Kolkata (NKDA), 3 at Vasai Virar and 2 at Dhule.
