説明
Avatar is a dual-arm humanoid for warehouse work, and the interesting part is what stands behind it. When the autonomy cannot handle a case, a trained remote operator takes over through a low-latency multi-camera HD link with bidirectional control — so the robot keeps working on day one instead of waiting for the AI to be ready, and the customer's throughput stays steady while autonomy catches up. The hardware is deliberately shaped for buildings designed around people: two-handed dexterity for items that need it, the mobility to move between zones, and the reach the company says covers what a human covers. No facility redesign, no re-racking. In the maker's own footage it appears as an arm-and-torso humanoid on a wheeled cart with an operator screen, working at pick and pack stations and conveyor lines in live warehouses. Its jobs are sorting, packing, kitting, picking and carting, and it is meant to absorb daily product variation — SKUs, packaging and workflow changes — without reprogramming. Every shift feeds the training loop: synchronised video, sensor streams, motion control and success and failure signals become training data, and new capabilities arrive over the air. Fleet management gives warehouse operators, not engineers, real-time status, throughput by line, exceptions and history.
