説明
Asimov 0 is Menlo Research's open-source bipedal legs platform, built to learn locomotion. It is a complete pair of humanoid robot legs assembled from off-the-shelf components and designed for low-volume manufacturing, with 12 degrees of freedom in total (6 per leg): hip pitch, roll and yaw, knee pitch, and an articulated RSU (Revolute-Spherical-Universal) ankle with inversion/eversion. Actuation uses Encos EC-A series electric motors with peak torques from 36 Nm at the ankle to 120 Nm at hip pitch. The full hardware design — CAD, motor list and simulation model — is published under the CERN-OHL-S-2.0 open-hardware license on GitHub.
特長
- 12 DoF total (6 per leg): 3-DoF hip (pitch/roll/yaw), knee pitch, articulated ankle with inversion/eversion via RSU mechanism. Encos EC-A series motors, 36–120 Nm peak torque range. Built from off-the-shelf components
- parts compatible with MJF 3D printing. Full open-source hardware release (CAD, motor list, simulation model) under CERN-OHL-S-2.0.
