説明
Armeo Spring Pro is Hocoma's spring-based arm exoskeleton for upper-limb rehabilitation, the current evolution of an ArmeoSpring platform with more than fifteen years of clinical use behind it. Where ArmeoPower drives the arm with motors, the Spring Pro supports it mechanically - the patient supplies the movement and the exoskeleton cancels the weight of the limb, which suits patients with mild to moderate impairment who can move but cannot sustain it against gravity. The distinguishing element is what Hocoma calls TrueG: constant arm weight support across the complete range of motion, from shoulder extension through to shoulder flexion. Conventional spring support varies as the arm moves, so the assistance a patient feels changes through the reach; holding it constant means the difficulty of an exercise does not drift with arm position. The exoskeleton covers the whole movement chain from shoulder to hand, and the therapist can block individual joints to isolate a specific movement, which is how a single device serves everything from paediatric to adult patients. Training spans cognitive work, movement coordination and grasping function, delivered through game-like Augmented Performance Feedback and virtual reality exercises built around the movement patterns of daily life. Reporting covers joint range-of-motion and reaching-workspace assessments so progress is tracked over time rather than judged session by session. The Armeo Support Harness is supplied with it to restrict compensatory trunk movement - patients who cannot reach with the arm will lean with the body instead, and the harness prevents that masking real recovery.
