The Ambrogio L60 Elite S+ needs no perimeter wire and no installation: it is set down on the lawn and started. Ambrogio rates it for areas up to 400 m2 - the larger of the two versions of model 7060DE0 - and sells it as a drop-and-mow machine for small gardens. It is four-wheel drive, which is unusual at this size, and cuts with a solid stainless-steel four-edged blade 250 mm across. Cutting height is fixed within a narrow 42-48 mm band. A single 25.9 V 7.5 Ah lithium-ion pack gives about three hours of average working time. The robot weighs 8.6 kg with its battery and measures 440 x 360 x 200 mm, and it is rated for slopes up to 50%. Instead of a boundary wire it uses ZGS grass and drop-off sensors to tell lawn from everything else and to stop at edges and steps. Eco Mode shortens the cycle where the grass is already short. Control is by keypad and LED with Bluetooth for the app. Measured sound power is 65 dB(A) and protection is rated IP21. A lifting and tip-over sensor and a push-stop emergency button are standard.
