BESCHREIBUNG
The Zeroth M1 is a small bipedal home robot, roughly half a metre tall, built around what Zeroth calls embodied intelligence - the robot sees, listens, remembers and acts rather than waiting for commands. It moves in two ways. A bipedal walking mode carries it over thresholds and obstacles up to 40 mm at a deliberate 0.05 m/s, and a wheeled mobility base lifts its top speed to 0.6 m/s for autonomous following around the house. Twenty degrees of freedom drive the head, torso and a pair of arms spanning about 510 mm. Sensing combines an LDS lidar for whole-home mapping, an iToF depth camera for small household obstacles, a vision camera for recognition and avoidance, an IMU for posture, and a three-microphone circular array with roughly five metres of voice pickup. Interaction is by voice or app in multiple languages, with continuous rather than turn-by-turn conversation. Alongside the consumer proposition Zeroth positions the M1 as a developer machine, with an open multi-language programming platform, VR integration and reinforcement-learning tools.
