VEX EXP ist ein Educational-Robots von VEX Robotics. Er ist für Bildung ausgelegt.
VEX EXP is VEX Robotics' metal construction system for high-school classrooms, built to teach STEM with real robots, current sensors and metal construction. Its steel channels, plates, gussets, gears, sprockets, chain and wheels are fastened with screws and nuts, and each Education Kit comes in two labelled storage bins with small-parts cases. The kit's EXP Robot Brain has a colour screen, the controller drives the robot and downloads code wirelessly, and five 5.5 W Smart Motors, an Optical Sensor that sees light, colour and gestures, a laser Distance Sensor and two bumper switches let students build and program working machines in VEXcode with blocks, Python or C++. A 2,500 mAh lithium-ion robot battery charges over USB-C in 2.5 hours and lasts a full classroom day.
