The VEX CTE 6-Axis Robotic Arm is an educational robot arm that looks and works like a real industrial robot, built for career and technical education courses. Its six rotational joints let students position its end-effector tools freely; they first set it up and jog it with a Teach Pendant, then code it in VEXcode to make precise movements, draw shapes, and transport, palletise and stack objects. The arm kit includes a magnetic pickup tool, a pen holder, a signal tower, a CTE tile with frames, disks, cubes and pallets. In the VEX CTE Workcell kit the same arm is combined with conveyors, pneumatics and sensors to build a working production cell, so classes move from 'what is a workcell?' to sorting by colour, material transport, pallet loading and logistics challenges in two sequenced courses.
